Meillä on vauvoja! / We have babies!

Ihanainen pikkukirppumme, Australiasta tullut Hoppu -tyttö synnytti maanantaina 14.7. meille hienon pentueen sinisiä aussivauvoja. Kolme urosta ja kaksi narttua ovat isoja, tasakokoisia sekä erittäin elinvoimaisia. Pentujen isänä on komea ja mukava jenkkipoika Tico, FI MVA Marble Arch Feel Like Dancing. Kiitos Tiinalle, Ninalle ja Pirkolle, että sain käyttää Ticoa!

Tämä yhdistelmä on erittäin mielenkiintoinen, koska vanhempien suvut ovat Euroopassa uusia, eikä minun tietääkseni näitä linjoja ole koskaan vielä yhdistetty. Yhdistelmän sukusiitos% on ainakin 5-6 sukupolvessa 0%, mutta myönnän heti etten ole jaksanut kaivella sukariin kaukaisempia sukulaisia. Jos kaikki menee hyvin ja pennuista kasvaa kivaluonteisia, terveitä ja vielä kauniitakin, tulevat nämä pennut olemaan todella käyttökelpoisia ja "kultaakin kalliimpia" jalostuksessa.

We have babies!

Our lovely Australian import Hoppu, HU JCH JWW-13 Laperdue Whispering Hope, gave birth to five big and beautiful babies on 14th July. The pups are very even and very vital. The sire is an US import FI CH Marble Arch Feel Like Dancing aka Tico, a handsome and friendly male. Thanks to the owners of Tico: Tiina (knl Tenguard's), Nina (knl Bristregal) and Pirkko (knl Pikestar's) for letting me use Tico with Hoppu!

This litter is very interesting: the lines of both parents are new in Europe, and as far as I know these lines have never been combined before. Even if I don't usually like to mate two imported dogs because of the unknown factor (unfamiliar lines behind them), this time I was ready to make an exception. The inbreeding% of this combination is 0% in the 5-6 generations, and both parents are both healthy and have wonderful temperaments. Also, they both have the type and details I appreciate a lot, and they compliment each other perfectly. If my instinct is right, and with a little bit of luck, these pups will be worth their weight in gold in breeding.
